Freya Barker does it again. Another amazing book that had me hooked from the beginning till the last page.

This story is one of my favorites ever bu her. It’s so well written. So many emotions while reading this book, I’ve swooned, fell in love with Trunk. I was also mad, sad that this is the reality of many people.

Titus Maximus Rae “Trunk”, is a child psychologist and member of the Arrow’s Edge MC. I confess, after Tracking Tahlula I was intrigued how Freya would get me to like or even fall in love with him. Well..she most definitely did it. Not only did I fall in love with him, he’s my new book boyfriend. Love everything about him.

His gentleness, his patience, his relationship with River and Ezrah and how much he loved Jaimie.

Loved Jaimie so much! She was strong, loyal and knew what or who she wanted from the very beginning.

This story, like usual with Freya Barker’s books has lots of suspense and angst.

Awesome storyline and so happy that this couple got their HEA.

My Rating: 5 STARS!!

Freya Barker loves writing about ordinary people with extraordinary stories.
Driven to make her books about ‘real’ people; with characters who are perhaps less than perfect, but just as deserving of romance, thrills and chills, and their own slice of happy.
A recipient of the RomCon “Reader’s Choice” Award for best first book, “Slim To None”, and Finalist for the Kindle Book Award with “From Dust”, Freya has not slowed down.
She continues to add to her rapidly growing collection of published novels as she spins story after story with an endless supply of bruised and dented characters, vying for attention!

Prologue
Alissa
When your whole
world implodes and in the matter of hours and your happily ever after turns to
dust, life sucks.
I’m left holding
the baby. Literally.
The baby being my
eleven-month old daughter, Nora, who knows nothing of her father’s failure to
be a decent husband… man… well human-being really. He’s a shitty person and
that’s all there is to it. Our story started out like your typical fairy-tale.
Goosebumps still prickle my skin when I remember the way he chased me
throughout Senior school, and the years of romance that followed. And the
proposal and wedding? Just call me Cinde-fucking-rella. But my perfect life
came crashing down as quickly as that pink line appeared on the pregnancy test.
Apparently a tired, puffy and hormonal wife didn’t exactly make my husband’s
dick stand to attention. So, in a move I can only imagine was driven by his
little head (and I do mean little,) he decided my ex-best friend was a better
option.
That’s right I said
ex because before she did the dirty with my husband she was the best friend. I
told her everything, confided in her and cried on her shoulder about my
non-existent sex life and all the while her own sex life was heating up with my
husband. Weekends away on ‘business trips’ and doing all the things a wife
should be doing with her husband. Except she was his slutty side piece with a
big fat mouth and a huge spent pussy the whole football team had ridden so
often they called her the local bike.
Yeah, I’m bitter
and I don’t care. I’ve been wronged by the two people I trusted the most. Now
I’m a single mother with no social life to speak of, and my only conversation
is in baby gobbledegook. I actually look forward to the delivery woman ringing
the doorbell when I order groceries online. Yeah, I have them delivered. Have
you ever tried juggling a crying baby and a shopping cart while concentrating
on what comfort food you plan to stuff your face with that night while crying
over chick flicks? Yeah, I’m miserable, it’s obvious, right?
Author Bio
I’m a born and bred East Yorkshire lass. Where I still live
with my husband and our children.
A self-confessed night owl, that’s usually when I do my best work, lucky for me
home-schooling my daughter gives me plenty of time to catch up on those
late-night hours writing, although my irrational love of full sugar coke can
help with that too—don’t tell the sugar police.

I wrote my first book when my daughter was born back in 2004, but it stayed on
my laptop for years while I worked out what to do with it. Things were sure
different back then, and to be able to publish a manuscript you’d poured your
soul into seemed a far-off dream, one that I didn’t know would ever come true.

While my first book baby festered on my hard drive, I went on to study a
Creative Writing and English degree, while also growing our family with not
only children but more puppies and dog’s than a sane woman should have.

With a degree under my belt, those original characters, tucked safely far away
from sight, still called to me like old friends. Using my new skills and
knowledge I decided to give them the attention they deserved. Forbidden Love is
the result of those long years of maturing and I couldn’t be prouder of how my
first novel turned out.

What began as one story, fifteen years ago, grew to become a series and in 2016
I took the plunge and dove into the indie publishing world releasing Forbidden
Love to feedback that blew my mind.
And here I still am, loving every minute, bringing characters that hold a place
in my heart to life.
All I can do now, is hope you are here to join me for the ride.

COVER REVEAL: This Is Forever by Natasha Madison.

Caroline
Becoming a teen mom at eighteen was not what I expected, but then again, neither was being a single parent. Still, I wouldn’t change my past because that boy is my world.

Hockey is the only thing my son seems to care about, so I work two jobs to make sure he can play. I’d do anything to make sure he doesn’t suffer because of the bad decisions his father made.

When he won a whole summer of hockey training, I knew in my heart he was going to have an amazing time.

What I wasn’t prepared for was meeting his new summer coach.

He was magnetic, powerful, and a player—in all forms of the word.

If my life had taught me anything up to this point, it was how to avoid making bad decisions, and Justin Stone was the definition of a bad decision.

I could never be a woman his family approved of. Even if I wished I could be.

Justin

Growing up as the son of a hockey God is one thing. Growing up as the brother of a second hockey God is another. I had big skates to fill, so it was a good thing I loved every second of it.

Summer was my off time, my time to let loose, but when they ask me to coach a hockey camp for underprivileged kids, I couldn’t say no.

But when she walked in holding a little boy’s hand, my heart stopped beating. Or maybe it started for the first time.

They were a package deal, and I knew this—wanted it more than I’ve ever wanted anything. It didn’t take long to realize that no matter what happened,

I would do anything to protect them.

She is the only one I want to be with.

When push comes to shove, I have to prove to everyone that this is my choice, and This is Forever.

“Hey, Little J.”

My entire world seemed to tunnel as my vision went black, and my knees buckled.

“Shit!” Strong hands caught me before I could hit the floor. I blinked rapidly as Tuck’s face came into focus. His expression was full of worry. “Are you okay?” He settled me into one of the café chairs.

My stomach pitched. “I’m fine. Just got up too fast. You startled me.”

Tuck’s brow furrowed. “The door was unlocked.”

“Well, I thought I’d locked it.”

Tuck let out a sound that was a cross between a sigh and a growl of frustration. “You need to be more careful. Anyone could’ve come in here, and you wouldn’t have even known. Just because we live in a small town doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take precautions.”

I pinned him with a stare that should’ve had him taking a step back. “I know that. Believe me, I of all people fucking know that.”

Tuck winced. “I didn’t mean it like that.”

I waved him off. “I know.” I pushed up to stand, but the world turned wobbly again, and Tuck pressed me back into the chair.

“Oh, no, you don’t. When’s the last time you had something to eat?”

I tried to think back. I guess I had missed lunch. “A granola bar in the car on the way to drop Noah off at school?”

This time Tuck did growl. “You need to take better care of yourself.”

My skin prickled. “I take fine care of myself, you big behemoth.”

“I’m not seeing a whole lot of evidence of that lately. You take care of everyone but yourself.” I opened my mouth to argue, but he kept right on going. “You stay right here while I go fix you a snack.” Tuck pinned me with a hard gaze. “You move a muscle, and I will paddle your ass.”

My jaw came unhinged, but simmering heat pooled low in my belly. My hands fisted. What the hell? Before I could regain any semblance of the ability to speak, Tuck had turned on his heel and strode towards the kitchen. Had I actually hit my head? Was I now in some sort of coma-induced alternate universe where Tuck threatened to spank me? And why the hell did some part of me like the idea?

I was clearly in some sort of hunger-induced brain misfire. That was the only reasonable explanation. I did all kinds of crazy stuff when I went too long without sustenance. Yes, those crazy things were generally something like eating an entire pan of brownies in one sitting. They weren’t typically the burning desire to climb one of my best friends since birth like a tree. But hunger could make you do lots of insane things.

Tuck emerged from the kitchen juggling a plate with the largest sandwich I’d ever seen and a tall glass of what looked like apple juice. He came towards me with what I could only describe as a swagger. Had his hips always moved like that when he walked?

Don’t get me wrong, I knew Tuck was attractive. Hot even. I’d had the requisite crush on him throughout my middle school years and even into high school. But he had always treated me like a little sister. Someone he liked hanging with. But never once had he given me even a single hint that he was interested in more than friendship. And I’d grown up. I’d put him firmly in the big-brother category. So, why, all of a sudden, was my body reacting to him?

It had to be my dry spell. Could it even be called that if it was as dry and vast as the Sahara? I needed to get laid and stat. Because the last thing I needed was to fall for a guy who was a walking one-night stand.

RELEASE BLITZ and REVIEW of Tempt The Hookup by Natasha Madison.

Tempt Series, Book 3
Release Day:
October 22

Eliahn
Getting pregnant after a booze cruise hookup was not what any parent wanted to hear, so I picked up my entire life and moved to Paris to start over. Six years later, I was ready to go home.

I was a single mom and the only thing I knew about my son’s dad was his name—Luca. I didn’t need to know anything else.

The universe had other ideas because on our second day back home, the man came crashing back into my life.

Luca

Attending a welcome back party for my boss’s daughter wasn’t how I wanted to spend my Sunday. But walking in and seeing my hookup from a cruise six years ago knocks me on my ass.

It was a weekend of fun and now I’m seeing a pair of eyes, identical to mine, staring right at me. The boy standing next to her is my son.

Now we’re living next door to each other and attempting to co-parent something that would be easy to do if the pull that brought us together wasn’t still there making things more complicated.

For six years she haunted my dreams, now she’s haunting my every waking moment.

I let her get away once, now I want to make her mine.

This time, permanently.

Only one thing left to do. I have to tempt the hookup.

Tempt The Hookup is the 3rd book by Natasha Madison’s Tempt series and what an awesome book. Loved it so much.

I’ve laughed and swooned so many times in this book.

A hookup on a booze cruise where only first names were exchanged, results in a surprise pregnancy.

7 years later they meet again and..surprise!!

This was an easy and light read. Romantic and funny. I was laughing out loud many times throughout the book. Kids say the funniest things.

No unnecessary drama in this book and I loved that.

The chemistry between Luca and Eli was hot and love that Luca was an amazing dad.

Loved Eli and loved how she dealt with the situation when she meets Luca after 7 years. They were sensible adults and deciding what is best for their son.

I loved it very much and can’t wait for Natasha’s next book.

I’ve been wanting to read Jensen and Tuck’s story from the first book and Catherine didn’t disappoint.

Beautiful friends to lovers book. Slow building and lots of suspense. I was rooting for Jensen and Tuck so hard. I wanted, no..I needed them to have their HEA.

“It all came down to trust. A five-letter word that was so incredibly fragile. With others, but even more with yourself.”

Jensen Cole didn’t trust. Not herself and she didn’t trust herself in a relationship.

Not after past mistakes. She couldn’t forgive herself. And it was killing her.

Tucker Harris didn’t do relationships. But Jensen was always his more. But she’s his best friend’s little sister and he’s afraid to go there because he’s not good enough for her.

This book is so beautiful. So many emotions while reading. Catherine Cowles is a queen of small town romances. Her writing style is one of my favorites and you could feel the emotions coming from the pages.

“Tucker Harris, I’ve loved you since before I knew what the word even meant. “

If you love small town romance, protective alpha males and suspense, you have to read this series.

Death never simply settles for the life it claims.

It’s greedy.

It stole all of our lives that night and while it put my husband in the ground, it left my four children and me behind.

After an ugly year of grief, something had to change.

My sister suggested open spaces, big skies and fresh air in the heart of Wyoming.

We settled into our shared estate the best we could, until I met my new neighbor.

Arrogant, bossy and rude; Reid was easily the worst person I’d ever met. I’d decided to write him off entirely until I realized he was the only local horse instructor.

I’d heard that if I could get my kids onto a horse, they’d start to heal.

Desperation had me creating an alliance with him.

Envy had me craving the connection he had with them.

Distracted by the newness of our situation, I missed how close his demons danced to my ghosts. While I was ignorantly letting him take my heart, it was too late to realize . . .

He’d already stolen it once before.

This is my first read by Ashley Munoz and so glad I read this beautiful book.

Emotional and heartbreaking. This book had me crying and laughing. It ripped my heart and put it back together so beautifully that I’m still swooning.

Beautifully written. Ashley Munoz is a excellent writer and had me hooked from the very beginning and knew that I’ve discovered a new favorite author.

Two broken people that went through a heartbreaking and tragic past.

Layla Carter is a widow going trough life after the tragic loss of her husband and hiding her loneliness from everyone.

Then she meets her brooding and arrogant neighbor.

Reid Harrison has a heartbreaking past. He’s a broken man that lost himself and is just barely existing.

And the kids… love the kids so much. Love how they slowly fell in love with Reid and how he also fell in love with them. How protective and patience he was with them.

Slow building, this is a book about second chances and forgiveness. A book about finding happiness after pain and sorrow.

Can’t wait to read more of this author.
